Faithful Friends is an all-volunteer animal-assisted therapy ministry serving the greater Houston–Clear Lake area. If your facility would like a visit from our registered, vaccinated pet teams, the best way to reach us is by phone. You're also welcome to email us and we'll follow up.

Arranging a Visit
Does a visit cost our facility anything?
No. Faithful Friends is an all-volunteer ministry and visits are provided free of charge. There is no fee, no contract, and no minimum commitment.
What kinds of facilities do you visit?
Our teams regularly visit hospitals, nursing homes, memory care units, rehabilitation centers, schools, and other care settings across the greater Houston and Clear Lake area. If you are not sure whether your setting is a fit, call and ask.
How far ahead should we call?

Can you visit on a regular schedule?
Yes. Many of the facilities we serve host our teams on a recurring basis. Once we have visited once and know your setting, we are glad to arrange a regular rhythm that fits your calendar.
What to Expect
Are the animals vaccinated and evaluated?
Yes. Every animal is current on the vaccinations that can pass between animals and people, with records on file, and each one has passed a temperament evaluation confirming it is comfortable around strangers in unfamiliar settings.
Will the teams follow our facility's rules?
Yes. Our handlers visit on your terms, following your infection-control policies, restricted areas, and any resident-specific instructions your staff gives them.
