Common Questions
Before You Get in Touch
The questions we are asked most often when someone first reaches out.
Getting in Touch
What is the fastest way to reach you?
Calling (281) 819-0419 is the quickest way to reach a person. We are an all-volunteer ministry, so email is answered as soon as a volunteer picks it up rather than on a fixed schedule.
Who should I contact about volunteering?
Email newvolunteer@faithfulfriendsaat.com to ask about volunteering or to reserve a place at the next orientation workshop. Workshops run on the third Saturday of February, April, June, August, and October.
Can I reach you without using this form?
Yes. Everything on this site can be arranged by phone or email instead, including requesting a visit, asking about volunteering, and registering for a workshop. Nothing here requires the form.
Common Questions
Do I need to own a pet to volunteer?
No. Pet ownership is not required. Many volunteers serve alongside a team without handling an animal, and every new volunteer makes their first visit without a pet so they can see how a visit works.
Our facility would like a visit. What do we do?
Call (281) 819-0419 and tell us about your facility, the people you serve, and any scheduling preferences. Visits are free of charge, and we will match a volunteer pet team to your setting.
